Cedar Chests Silent Auction Benefiting Canyon Creek Services

A Silent Auction by Hope Forever Foundation

CEDAR CITY, Utah, December 16, 2025: Hope for Foundation has organized a one-of-a-kind silent auction, proceeds to benefit Canyon Creek Services. 

As part of Canyon View High School’s on campus holiday orchestra, band, and choir concerts, the Hope Forever Foundation will be conducting a silent auction. Local woodworking artisans have assembled to create a collection of handcrafted cedar hope chests from new and repurposed materials. 

The silent auction for these hope chests begins December 1, 2025 12:00 AM MST and ends on December 16, 2025 8:45 PM MST where the winners will be announced in person at the conclusion of the High School’s holiday concerts, on the nonprofit’s website, and on their social media channels. The minimum bid is set to $500 and the proceeds will benefit Canyon Creek Services. The concerts begin at 6 PM at the High School’s auditorium, 166 W 1925th N, in Cedar City.

For a donation of five dollars, one of the cedar hope chests will be raffled off to a lucky winner.

In 2014, Hope Forever Foundation did a successful benefit concert in Provo, Utah with its corporate sponsor Nu Skin International. The concert with an audience of 600 people, and the silent auction, raised a combined total of $16,000 benefiting the Provo Food and Care Coalition. 

About Hope Forever Foundation: The Hope Forever Foundation is a volunteer committee of Utah residents sharing their talents and skills to serve their community. It was founded by composer Lyle Hadlock; his music can be found on BYU radio, Pandora, spotify, and on i-tunes. Since 2025, Hope Forever Foundation has focused its efforts on preparing a silent auction for the Cedar City area to support the needs of local charities, such as Canyon Creek Services.
